Is there anything you'd like me to try to grow this year, what would it be?? Please let me know... and thank you again for all your support. The weather is often the challenge, but can try something new, see what happens!! 🫣
Tall things really don't work out on the big patch, too windy! But there are other spots for them.
I'm still getting some potatoes, beets and swede out from there. Found some garlic that looked impressive, but already starting to sprout so re-sowed them back in again. It'd got hidden by weeds before!
My attempt at a later direct seed sowing worked which I'm happy about, I'll do more this year. Early planting has to be fairly good sized seedlings grown on in the poly to fight off the leatherjacket attacks and the weather!
Our soil started off compacted and lifeless. It's come a long way 👏 😀 🪱 🪲
Already seeing good wildflower meadow flowers coming back too 🌼 🌸🍀 😍 hoping for another good hay season🤞
