JACOB TUP NOW SOLD…..STUNNING MERINO TUP STILL AVAILABLE 🐑♥️🐑
Boys seek girls…..Hutch is our pedigree registered jacob shearling tup who was proven as a lamb and has been successfully shown. He has lovely wool and a great temperament too - two hundred pounds.
We also have Murray our beautiful Saxon merino tup. We have owned him for 3 years and he’s a lovely lad. He’s 7 this year but don’t let that put you off….he knows his job! He would make a fab addition to any fibre flock. His fleece consistently places first and has also won reserve and champion fleece at Dorset county show - two hundred pounds

Both boys have had heptavac, 5 in 1 bolus and btv3

Jacob ewe lambs and wether lambs
We have a small selection of lovely pure bred pedigree jacob lambs. All have had both heptavac vaccinations, 5 in 1 bolus, BTV3 (August 5th) and treated with cydectin and clikzin. Nicely marked and with good wool the girls will make lovely breeding stock in a years time and can be registered with the Jacob sheep society.

The boys will be perfect as fibre lambs as year on year wethers always produce the best wool. Given time to grow on they will also produce lovely lean meat.

Peek a boo or should that be peek a ewe!!! Sheep delivery for Chris……the girls have done their wool and make up and they’re all ready to meet the very handsome Dave tomorrow…..after all the turmoil of blue tongue it’s great to be thinking to the future…..roll on lambing 2027

🐑 WOOL WORKSHOPS 🐑
Do you want to learn about crimp, diz’s and rovings? Then join us for one of our woolly processing workshops at our farm on the edge of Dartmoor near Okehampton / Tavistock.

Come and meet our lovely lambs Paddington and his friends Tarka and Artemis who are keen to teach you all about their amazing woolly coats!!

WOOL PROCESSING WORKSHOP (includes meeting the sheep / lambs, drum carding, wool picking, hand carding, using a diz and 2D needle felting)
11am till 3pm (ish) - £55 per person

Huge thanks to Az Hattie for shearing all our sheep In the current heat wave. As always great fun working alongside him and seeing how much he loves shearing…..absolutely brilliant with our sheep even the naughty ones!! A lot of work goes into sorting the wool ready for selling and fab helpers like Sam and Bernard make it sooooo much easier…..shearing 2026 over and out!! Now to get them all up on the website!!

With a summer of naked sheep ahead of us why not join us for one of our fabulous wool workshops and fall in love with our lovely lambs Paddington, Tarka and Artemis who are keen to teach you all about their amazing woolly coats!!

Domino and Star came 5th and 6th in their ewe class but our best results were in the wool tent! Murray’s merino fleece came first in the fine wool class and Domino’s fleece came 3rd in the coloured class!
