Who’s coming to see our team for the last day of the Bolton Food and Drink Festival 🥧🥧🥧

Young people from the Bolton area from Genuine Futures have had the opportunity to design their own pies which are now being sold by H.M. Pasties at the Bolton Food and Drink Festival this weekend 🥧

“When I was younger I was in and out of prison, I’d been twice by the time I was 21.

I set up H.M.Pasties to provide people in the prison system with opportunities for work.

We’ve recently been doing a lot of work with people from disadvantaged backgrounds, because having a disadvantaged background is one of the biggest factors in someone going to prison later in life.”

We come in and work with young people early to hopefully give them the skills they need to make positive changes in their lives.”

And this time Lee chose a group of young chefs to work with as part of the festival from Genuine Futures👨🏻‍🍳

The two chosen pies are Beef chilli pie topped with cheese 🥧and a Cheese pie with chilli peppers 🌶️

They are selling really well so do let us know if you buy one while you’re at the festival!

We are getting set and ready for day two of the Bolton Food and Drink Festival ✨ Who’s coming down today to visit the team? You can find our stall on Newport street just across from the Betfred shop

Over the next 3 days we’ll be having an extra pair of hands from the young adults at Genuine Futures who will be selling their special pies that they designed for the festival🥧
