We’re Hiring: Part-Time Butcher

Part-Time Butcher (or Apprentice Butcher) - approximately 18 hours per week

Work alongside our current butcher preparing high-quality cuts of meat for our customers.

We’re open to:
• An experienced butcher ready to hit the ground running
• Or an apprentice/trainee keen to learn the trade

Key responsibilities:
• Meat preparation and cutting
• Supporting weekly butchery operations
• Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

• Passion for quality food and local produce
• Confident with knife skills - ideally with butchery experience or a strong desire to learn!

🌸 Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea 🌸

Treat your mum this Mother’s Day to a lovely Afternoon Tea from our farm shop!

For £13.50 per person, you’ll enjoy a delicious selection of:

🥪 Freshly made sandwiches made from stock from our shop on Bread Guy bread
🧑🏻‍🍳 Home-made sausage rolls and tortillas
🧁 A variety of our homemade bakes

Even better, all money raised will be donated to charity, supporting the Scottish Air Ambulance Service and Action Medical Research ❤️

It’s a great way to spoil your mum while supporting two fantastic causes.

Orders can be collected on either Saturday or Sunday after 10:30am - just let us know what day works best for you!

We will stop accepting orders on Thursday the 12th of March so make sure to give us a call or send us a message to place an order before it’s too late!

🥩 The counter is looking seriously good this weekend…

Our butcher Ian has been working hard behind the scenes today to make sure the meat counter is fully stocked and ready for you 😄

In the counter this week you’ll find our usual selection of Aberdeen Angus steaks, including some amazing tomahawk steaks – perfect if you’re planning something special. We’ve also got plenty of roasting joints, olives, fresh mince and burgers all from our own farm and butchered on site.

Or if you are fancying something a little different we have a great selection of sausages and bacon from Ingram’s, as well as fresh venison butchered this morning! 🦌

Whether you’re planning a big weekend meal or just topping up the fridge, there’s plenty to choose from. Pop in and see us or give us a call and we can keep anything back for you.
