We recently discovered this Mother Root when looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink to sell here at Moreish, alongside our ever-popular homemade lemonade. It appeared on Dragons’ Den in October last year and we think it’s pretty special. It’s currently about the same price as a gallon of petrol, but tastes so much better! 🫤

We’ve shortened the menu for Mother’s Day this year to give ourselves a fighting chance. Gone are Turkish Eggs, Portobellos, Rarebit and Soup. In their place we have Shakshouka with Feta and Pistachios and a Pakora Chicken Burger with Lime Pickle and Mint Yoghurt - and of course the Rosemary Fries.

Happy Mother’s Day in advance to all the hard working mums out there.

Next week we say goodbye to this fella - legend, weirdo and occasional life-model. G.Berg had been with us from the start and after near 5 years in The Barn his nerves are shredded. He’s had to overcome many hurdles along the way, including a fear of the unknown, raging heat, challenging drama and the hollandaise conundrum. But he’s remained a stalwart and an extremely valuable member of the team throughout - and you don’t get many of them to the pound. He deserves a rest and we wish him well for the future and the new challenge that lies ahead.

Cedar Farm is a vibrant and popular visitor attraction in rural West Lancashire. Housed in the recently renovated Barn and central to the large communal dining hall, Moreish offers an extensive brunch menu using the best and freshest of local produce.

We’re looking for chefs to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, daytime only. Suitable for anyone looking for a better work/life balance.

All we require is a strong work ethic, diligence, courtesy and an open mindset.

In return you can expect:
Top hourly rates of pay
4pm finish
28 days of paid annual leave
