The Food Shop @ Cedarfarm started trading in 1999, with the intention of producing excellent quality 'homecooked' food using local ingredients. The Food Shop's scrumptious 'ready meals', prepared in small batches to ensure a consistent high quality, are a perfect time saver for those with a busy lifestyle or for simply having a night off from cooking. Customers have peace of mind that no artificia

l additives or preservatives have been used in the preparation of their food. Together with the growing range of home cooked meals, also produced in the kitchen are chicken liver pate, homemade hummus,freshly made rice, cous-cous and spicy beany salads. For larger events the catering service is ideal, offering speciality honey glazed roasted ham, smoked fish platter, salads and pates. The Food Shop's fabulous hampers are available all year round in a choice of wrapping styles and themes. They make the perfect gift for Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and Christmas. Many local Lancashire products such as Farmhouse Biscuits and Lancashire Sauce are on sale. The vast majority of shelf products are produced in Britain including Mrs Darlington's preserves and chutneys, The Bay Tree speciality pasta and cooking sauces, Cottage Delight pates and thirst quenching drinks including botanically brewed sparkling Fentimans.
