A fantastic day at St John Rigby Sixth Form College celebrating St Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. 🐰🐐🐔 A hugely popular event with students, who loved meeting our animals and learning about the importance of kindness and respect for them 💚

We’ve been keeping a little secret… 🤫

Back in July, we were incredibly lucky to be invited to the BBC Blue Peter Studios to film with our two Pygmy goats, Geraldine & Gizmo! 💙
What an absolutely amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience it was! We even had the opportunity to meet Hacker the dog, Kyle Thomas and the wonderful Blue Peter presenters.

It was a day we’ll never forget, and we feel incredibly privileged to have been part of such a special experience. We’re so proud of Geraldine & Gizmo too — they were absolute stars! ⭐️

The episode aired this evening at 5pm, but don’t worry if you missed it — you can catch it on BBC iPlayer here:

It’s been a busy start to the summer here at Emily’s Mini Farm! Alongside looking after our lovely pet boarding guests, we’ve been out and about with our mobile farm, visiting holiday clubs, summer schools, and local events. We love seeing so many smiling faces and sharing our animals with the community ❤️
