Braythorne Orchard CSA

Braythorne Orchard CSA CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, which means a partnership between producer and consumer.

Braythorne Orchard CSA ( Community Supported Agriculture ) is a not for profit project that aims to grow fruit and flowers, without chemicals, for and with local people, whilst encouraging biodiversity and wildlife. Our aims are to produce healthy local fruit, enhance the biodiversity and wildlife potential of the land, whilst working with the local community. From January 2023 you can join as

a member for £20 per year . Members will be invited to harvest sessions to come and 'pick your own' fruit, and then pay for what you harvest at a modest rate. All members are welcome to join us for our monthly work parties, on the first Sunday of the month, 10.30a.m. - 12.30 plus a bring and share lunch . We will be working on various practical tasks, and you can learn more about fruit growing, plus ongoing conservation work to encourage wildlife. Please contact us by email if you are interested in joining as a member, or have any questions. We are setting up as a not for profit association, run on a voluntary basis. All income from membership fees and sales of fruit will go towards covering the ongoing costs of the orchard project, such as insurance, hedge trimming, tools etc.. Any surplus will be used for the benefit of the orchard project.
