Our tented lodge is based around an African style safari tent, perfect for families to get close to nature. With all the comfort of a permanent structure but still preserve the romance and atmosphere of a tent. Our lodge comfortably sleeps 4 people. The lodge has been furnished giving a ‘home from home’ feel especially with having an on-site bathroom at the back of the tent with a private toilet and shower, you will also find your own walk in wardrobe/store. The tent also has a log burning stove and also a gas stove to make things extra easy, along with everything required to make your stay extra special. Our Shepherds Hut
Your beautifully hand-crafted, traditionally styled hut is just beautiful inside and out... get busy doing nothing in this idyllic back-to-nature family retreat. Otter's Holt can comfortably sleep two plus a cot, or four persons without a cot (2 adults, 2 children). This postcard-pretty bespoke Shepherd's Hut is not short of grown-up luxuries, with hot tub and fabulous views of the countryside... there is no compromise on comfort here. In your Shepherd's Hut you will all find a king-size deep mattress, a bunk bed where the top bed will fold up to reveal a comfortable seating area. A cleverly designed kitchen where you will then find a Belfast sink, two-ring hob, mini oven and fridge. You will also find a separate bathroom with a flushing loo and lovely warm shower. To keep you warm on a cold winter nights there is also a wood-burning stove which adds that extra atmosphere.
