We’re proud to see Rothaus beer crates playing a major role in Means of Reproduction, a new exhibition at Emalin Art Gallery in London, running until 19 February.

The show explores artist-made merchandise and everyday objects – and Rothaus crates have been repurposed as display structures, turning the gallery into something closer to a shop or market than a traditional white cube.

A great example of how functional design can take on a second life in art and culture.
