Baklava is a delicious Filo pastry popular in Middle Eastern countries. Its supposed origins are Turkish, dating to the Byzantine Empire (or even further), though many cultures claim it for their own.

In baklava, layers of crisp Filo dough alternate with a sugary spiced nut mixture, and the whole thing is then soaked in fragrant sweet syrup made with honey, lemon and cinnamon.

This Persian Jewelled rice dish is a real celebration of taste and aroma. It's overloaded in flavor, fragrance, balance and a notable infusion of love in the grains of rice and tart little barberries.

The dish honours rice as an ancient staple and is a showcase of delicious aromas starting with Basmati with gemstone colours of saffron, orange peel of gold, barberries of rubies, pistachios of emeralds and almonds of pearls.

The word Shakshoukah comes from Arabic, meaning, “a haphazard mixture” or “all mixed up.” You can’t go wrong serving Shakshoukah for breakfast or brunch. It’s also great for lunch and dinner. We've added our own touch to the famous dish by adding Cod Loin to the equation. Will you be ordering the Fisherman's Shakhshoukah?
