Lula is the owner of the vibrant and delicious Oxford food business Lula's Ethiopian and Eritrean Cuisine. Starting out at Oxford's food markets, Lula has recently opened her kitchen at the community arts space The Community Works.

Lula's business is about community over everything, it's about sharing authentic recipes from Ethiopia and Eritrea - and more than anything, it's about making people happy! Both these cuisine's are hearty and fresh, serving up meat and vegetable stews over freshly made injera breads. There's also loads of vegan and gluten-free things to try as well.

We absolutely love Vegetable Shiro and the Spicy Chicken - don't forget to add the injera! Put this one on your list!

😇Community spotlight 😇

Foodstuff aren't just about supporting great indie restaurants, we also want to support the amazing communities that we ride in. So our community spotlight tonight is for none other than our own Foodstuff hero and the amazing work they do with !

Oxford Mutual aid offer help to people struggling to find it anywhere else, including families on low income, people living with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness.

the pandemic has been really tough on so many people and these heroes have provided 330 households with regular food and baby supplies, deliver 190 emergency food parcels a month, and cook over 650 meals a week (can we get a round of applause).👏

Taste Tibet provides over 50 cooked meals to OMA who then distributes them across their networks.

We love to see our vendors working with the community so keep up the good work both teams, Oxford is a better place because of people like you.🤟
