After much reflection, tears, and honest conversations with myself, I’ve decided to close Oxted Desserts as of 29/01/2026. This wasn’t an easy choice, but deep down, I know it’s the right one for my life at this moment.
Since starting this journey, so much has changed. What began as a dream and a passion has gradually become something that demands more from me than it gives. Running a small business has led to long days, constant pressure, financial stress, and little room to breathe.
Over time, we struggled to deliver the consistent experience we envisioned. It’s not fair to you, our customers, or to the ideals we wanted this business to represent.
However, this is not the end for us. We’re excited to embark on new adventures that will be more relaxed and allow us to create better experiences. Please stay tuned for what’s coming next!
What makes this decision so difficult is the love we’ve received throughout this journey. We’ve cherished celebrating your special moments, and the letters, drawings, and kindness from your children have meant everything to us. We are truly saddened to say goodbye.
A huge thank you to our loyal customers for your understanding and encouragement. Your support has made this journey possible, and we are so grateful for it.
Serving Oxted has been a privilege. This beautiful community will always hold a special place in our hearts. The familiar faces, conversations, and support will stay with us forever.
