ches are in Southampton, Birmingham and Bristol. Through this network we have a strong customer base of independent retailers, foodservice companies, cruise lines and restaurateurs. In the UK our main packing centres are all market-leading facilities. The largest such facility is at The Fresh Produce Centre at Paddock Wood in Kent. This building is home to a number of Fresca companies, including Mack, MMG Citrus and new avocado business Cartama UK. Primafruit in Evesham is a specialist fruit business with a large ripening and packing operation. This company is dedicated to serving Waitrose as its retail customer and enjoys a close relationship with the retailer. Fresh vegetables are core products for DGM Growers and for our joint venture business, Manor Fresh in Lincolnshire. Manor Fresh is a potato specialist, with a growing business for carrots and greens, while DGM Growers has its focus on less mainstream crops - fennel, chicory, celeriac and chard, for example. Thanet Earth is also part of the Fresca Group as a joint venture business. This site generates plenty of headlines for its fast growth and ambitious vision - we're part of a consortium that has built enormous greenhouses in Birchington, Kent, to produce speciality tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers.
