The Padstow Verde Spritz:

I headed down to the water’s edge at Little Petherick to make one – nothing complicated, just a large measure of Padstow Verde, plenty of ice and a couple of bottles of light tonic.🤩

For mine, I used Navas Light Tonic, with some citrus and a sprig of rock samphire to garnish. But the joy of a Verde Spritz is that you really can make it your own.

You’ll need:
1 large measure of Padstow Verde
2 Navas Light Tonics, or another good light tonic
Plenty of decent-sized ice cubes
Your favourite garnish

Mix everything together in a large gin glass, add whatever garnish takes your fancy and serve suitably chilled.🌿

For this weekend only, there’s £5 off every 70cl bottle of Padstow Verde online.😍

Our new 70cl bottles of Padstow Verde have gone down rather well since I introduced them, so I thought I’d give you another good reason to try one.

And given the highly agreeable weather we’ve been enjoying lately, I thought I’d also share one of my favourite ways to drink it!

The Padstow Verde Spritz:

Padstow Verde is now available in our new 70cl bottle😍

The spirit itself is unchanged; the larger format simply works out a little more favourably by volume. Same recipe, same distinctive character, just rather more Verde to enjoy.🌿

Whether you prefer it with tonic over plenty of ice, as part of a Negroni Verde, or simply poured over ice, it has become one of those bottles that seems particularly well suited to summer. ☀️

There’s something particularly useful about a 20cl bottle. It gives you enough to make several proper G&Ts and get to know a gin, while still allowing you to try a few different styles. They have always been a popular size for gifting and picnics. 🌿

So I am very pleased to say that our award-winning Padstow Gin St George’s Well original recipe is now available once again in 20cl, presented in an entirely new bottle.

It is the first of our smaller bottles to return, with the rest of the range following over the coming weeks.✨

Keeping Cool Around Padstow 😎

Slushies at South Quay appear to have taken on a life of their own.

This week’s adults-only recipe combines our freshly distilled Fig Leaf Gin with a wonderfully sharp lemon slushy. Fantastically refreshing and served in our takeaway cups, it makes a very fine companion for a slow stroll around the harbour.🌿

We also have a non-alcoholic lemon version for younger family members, designated drivers and anyone else who would prefer to enjoy it without the gin.

Whether we see you at South Quay or send a bottle your way, here’s to enjoying the weekend with some quality refreshment. ☀️

Fig Leaf Returns🌿

The first batch proved remarkably popular when I introduced it last year, so I have now bottled Batch #002, this time presented in our lovely new Padstow bottles.

It is a clean, dry gin built around the juniper-led character of St George’s Well Original, layered with soft leafy aromatics, lemon zest and gentle floral notes.

Batch #002 is already available from the Distillery store and can now be ordered online. Judging by the reception the first batch received, I am not expecting it to linger for very long. 🤩
