MEROPE 2025 💥
Delighted to announce our new 2025 vintage Merope has won a Silver .iewa 🥂 And by the tasting notes, it looks like it was a high scoring Silver at that!
Great to see our Piwi white blend getting the recognition it deserves. The tasting notes were absolutely lovely too:
A highly expressive and beautifully composed white blend, combining aromatic intensity, texture and freshness. Nose is vibrant and perfumed, with notes of red apple, blossom and stone fruit, alongside subtle spice and honeyed nuances. Generous yet refined, the aromatic profile is really inviting.
On the palate, the wine is juicy and energetic, with ripe fruit supported by bright acidity that brings freshness and precision. A rounded, slightly creamy texture adds depth and richness, while the lively acid line ensures the wine remains focused. The balance between generosity and freshness is particularly impressive.
Texture is a notable strength, giving the wine a sense of weight and dimension without sacrificing elegance. Fruit, acidity and structure work together, creating a wine that is both immediately appealing and built with real poise.
Finish is clean, persistent and satisfying, carrying fruit and subtle spice with excellent length. Overall, this is a confident and highly accomplished blend that combines aromatic appeal with balance and textural sophistication.
