Buddy 💙 went home 🏠 this morning ⛅️ and his trial went very well, you’d think he’d stayed before as he settled in great. I’m pleased 😊 to say he’ll be holidaying with us in August and October. . . Then Belle 💖 had her last walkies 🐾 with her friends 🐕 at Primley Park 🌳🐦‍⬛🍄🍃🪵🛝 before she goes home 🏠 this afternoon. Belle 💖 jumped up to have a go on the roundabout 😆 as soon as we got there (this is also little Pancho’s 💙 and Terrence’s 💙 favourite pastime 🤣 being nosy and high up) They had a great little adventure today exploring in the woods🌲and in amongst the bushes 🌿 Maverick 💙 had to keep being reminded to go back and “find the ball” 🎾 and by the time we’d got down the bottom field ☘️🌼 he’d completely forgotten where he’d left it 🙄 so that was the end of that 😆 It got quite warm ☀️ so the pups were glad of a refreshment💧stop at the bench. Then off they went again for sniffs in the grass 🌱 and back up the steps into the woods. Maverick 💙 enjoyed detouring up the different paths and on the way back Buster 💙 and Belle 💖 were on squirrel 🐿️ patrol after hearing their funny noises up in the trees.

The pups 🐶🐕🐕‍🦺 all had a great time on their walkies 🐾 around the lovely Cockington 🌳🐦‍⬛🪵🍄🍃🌼🐿️ Buddy 💙 was pleased with himself at finding a stick as soon as we got there but soon lost interest and left it behind. We went down through the woods🌲past the gamekeepers cottage 🏡 and Patrick the pony 🐴 was there and the pups were very good and took no notice just walking on past, they probably thought it was oversized dog and best avoid it 🤣 Then we went around the lakes💧🦆 naturally Belle 💖 had to take a dip 🙄 and her and Buddy 💙 were off exploring in the bushes 🌿 Under the bridge and they couldn’t wait to race 🐾 off to have paddles 💦 in the little stream💧and play fetch the stickie and ball 🎾 Maverick 💙 looked a bit peeved 😆 as Belle 💖 and Buddy 💙 kept sneakily going off with it 🤣 He was a bit slow off the mark today. They didn’t hang onto it for long so he soon got it back. Lots of sniffies in the gardens 🌸 on the way back with Buddy 💙 paying a visit to Fred Flintstone and Dino 🦖 and they were all being nosy wanting to pop in the church ⛪️ for prayer 🙏 😆. . . Buddy’s 💙 booking form states “off lead” but i normally keep the trial doggies on lead first time but i had 100% confidence in him today. He was such a good boy 🥰 always checking we were following and he really enjoyed being out with his new friends.

Before Powlo 💙 went home 🏠 this morning 🌫️ after his successful 😊 trial we welcomed handsome new boy Buddy 💙 the working Cocker Spaniel. He’s here for his trial day/night and after a bit of a wary start everyone welcomed 🥰 him 🐕 with open paws 🐾 and he’s more relaxed and settling in nicely now 😊 They’re all showing him around the garden 🌳🐦‍⬛🌼🌿🐿️ before we head off out 🐾 shortly.

Myself and the pups 🐕 had the company of my friend for a nice afternoon 🌤️ walkies 🐾 starting off by going through Watcombe woods 🌳🐿️ and taking the Maidencombe coastal path. I kept Powlo 💙 on lead as it was trial and he was so excited and raring to go. Belle 💖 and Maverick 💙 were off 🐾 full steam ahead and must have done double the walk 😆 They were puffed out 🥵 so while we stopped for our lunch 🥪🍇🧁☕️ in the field ☘️🌼 they were very glad of their refreshment break and Buster 💙 admired the view. Then my friend suddenly realised 😳 his doggie had an appointment at the groomers so had to dash off quick. I decided we’d come so far and the pups 🐕 would love it, so i carried on the walk🚶‍♀️on my own to our original destination of Maidencombe beach 🌊🦀🐚🎣⛵️Belle 💖 and Mav 💙 raced down the steps and were in the sea 🌊 straight away. They both had a great time swimming 💦 out for the ball 🎾 Belle 💖 got us noticed by being rather vocal 🙄 but the people could see what fun they were having so didn’t seem to mind. Even my Toby 💙 and Powlo 💙 enjoyed a paddle. When it was time to go i clipped Mav 💙 on lead as i knew he wouldn’t want to leave and he looked 👀 back at me as if to say “do we have to” 😁 We came back a less strenuous and quicker way which my friend gave me good 👍🏻 directions for and Mav 💙 had one of his “I think I’ll harass the others moments” 🤣 in the field ☘️🌼 So quick thinking out came the ball 🎾 to distract him which worked a treat 😊 I’m quite pleased with myself because I’m getting to know how Mav’s 💙 mind works now 😆. . . It was a lovely walk to a place I’ve not been to in years.

After the Cav’s 💙💖 went home 🏠 our new arrival and here for his trial is handsome boy Powlo 💙 the Schnauzer. He had a lovely welcome 🥰 from everyone 🐕 and Maverick 💙 seems pleased 😊 to see another friend, following him everywhere. As always with newbies we’re having settling in time in the garden 🌳🐦‍⬛🌼🌿🐿️ before we head off out for our nice walkies 🐾 . . . Although I’m not taking on new clients at the moment (only recommendations from existing clients) Powlo’s 💙 owner Sue used to bring her lovely golden retriever 🦮 Barnie 💙 to me many years ago and it was great 😊 to hear from her a few weeks ago to say she’d got another doggie.

The two lovely Cavalier’s Chester 💙 and Maisie 💖 have just gone home 🏠 after their 11 night stay. While Chester 💙 takes everything in his stride as he’s used to staying lots of times 😊 it was little pup Maisie’s 💖 first holiday and she’s had a brilliant time. Being so gentle and loving 🥰 she’s made great friends with everyone and really enjoyed her daily outings 🐾. . .Thank you so much to their owners Emma and Paul for the gifts you back from Corfu 🇪🇸 for me. I love the bag which will be very useful for my holiday next week and the yummy 😋 Baklavas will go down a treat. It’s very kind and generous of you both and as always greatly appreciated. . . I look forward to welcoming 🥰 the pups 🐶 back to stay again in September.

It was Chester 💙 and Maisie’s 💖 last walkies 🐾 with us today 🌫️ before they go home 🏠 in the morning so off we all went to the lovely Elberry Cove 🌊🦀🐚🎣🦭⛵️ They raced through the woods 🌳🐿️ and down at the Cove Chester 💙 couldn’t wait to tuck 😋 into his favourite seaweed snack and Maisie 💖 rushed over at one point to see what she was missing out on. Belle 💖 and Maverick 💙 had great fun diving 💦 and swimming out for the ball 🎾 i was throwing and then Belle 💖 rolled the pebbles about trying to retrieve them. Up on the green🌲🐦‍⬛☘️🌼🐇 and Maverick 💙 loved playing fetch the ball 🎾 briefly losing 🙄 it in the bushes 🌿 Then Mav 💙 was a bit slow staring 👀 down at the ball and Belle 💖 sneaked in quick and pinched it 😆 and Mav 💙 was not happy about that 🤣 that’s when the game of chase 🐾 began. Belle 💖 was annoyed as she accidentally dropped it making Mav 💙 chuffed to bits he’d got it back 😁 My boys 💙 and the Cavs 🐶🐕 were happy to take things at a more leisurely pace enjoying a good sniff here and there then Chester 💙 had an energy spurt and came charging 🐾 through the long grass 🌱 you couldn’t even see 😆Maisie 💖 being so little. A great time was had by all on another great adventure. 🐾

Pleased to say after a couple of advisory’s and work done by Paignton Body Repair Centre my car 🚐 passed its MOT 👍🏻😁 yesterday. . . Then this morning 🌫️ just as Pancho 💙 was going home 🏠 i noticed a flat back tyre 🙄 what a pesky nuisance that was. So i was straight on the phone 📱 to my friend and he very kindly came over and took the tyre off and drove me down to Nick at TTS Tyre Services who I’d previously phoned. A big thank to him and his son Josh for being so prompt in fitting me in very last minute with my new tyre 🛞 . . . Then myself and the pups 🐕 were back on the road for a later than planned walkies 🐾 around Clennon Valley 🌳🐦‍⬛🌿🐿️🚴🏽‍♂️⚽️🥅 Belle 💖 charged across the field ☘️🌼 and her and Maverick 💙 couldn’t resist taking the plunge 💦 in the lake💧🦆 for a swim with Maisie 💖 looking 👀 on not quite sure and Chester 💙 really keeping his distance as he’s not a fan of getting his feet 🐾 wet. On the way around Maisie 💖 was eyeing 👀 up the birds 🐦 and then braved it for a paddle💧 but i had to make sure she didn’t topple over the edge. It was here we bumping into the lovely Estelle from Barking Mad Dog House and we had a quick natter. Maisie 💖 went to say hello to the swan 🦢 but it was rude 😆 and hissed at her so she made a quick exit 🤣 On the way round i must say I’ve never seen the lakes💧looking such a murky 🥴 colour today, not sure what’s going on there for them to look like that. They had a paddle at the end and Belle 💖 briefly pinched Mav’s 💙 2nd ball, he lost the 1st 🙄 and then destroyed this one, good job I’ve got I’ve got hundreds of balls. Belle 💖 had a roll 😆 in the grass 🌱 coming back, while Chester 💙 had a run and did lots of sniffing. . . And apologies for the late and long winded post but it’s been one of those days. 🙄

Cheeky little boy Pancho 💙 went home 🏠 this morning ⛅️ after his 3 week holiday and what a fun filled time he’s had out and about on lots of different adventures 🐾 with all his friends 🐕 and he even had a few holiday romances 🥰 along the way, most recent being Maisie 💖 so she’ll probably be glad of a bit of piece but i bet Pancho 💙 will miss her. . . Thank you so much to his owners Dave and Debbie for the Spanish 🇪🇸 treats. A huge bottle of gin 🍾 and yummy 😋 chocolate 🍫 Bon Bon’s. It’s so kind, thoughtful and very generous of you both and greatly appreciated. . . I’m going to miss having the little fella around and all his funny antics, until next time Mr P. 🥰

As my car 🚐 went in for it’s MOT this morning (waiting to hear from them any minute now) the pups 🐶🐕 have had a fun time 🌤️ playing in the garden 🌳🐦‍⬛🌼🌿🐿️ whilst I’ve been doing the housework and cutting the grass 🌱 Chester 💙 and Maisie 💖 were probably looking forward to a rest 😴 but Pancho 💙 had other ideas 😆 of showering her with love 🥰affection and kisses 😘 and then my Toby 💙 got jealous and came to the rescue. Maverick 💙 was happy playing fetch the ball 🎾 and Pancho 💙 joined in the fun as well, Belle 💖 didn’t get much of a look in 🙄 and Toby 💙 went off to play hide and seek in the bushes 🌿 but no one came to find him 🤣 except me. In between all this they were in need of several naps 💤 and to be honest i wish i could have joined them for my own little siesta 🥱 but saying that I’ve had a productive day.👍🏻😊
