🎉 HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR FUTURE MIL-KIN! 🥛😂

From milk boy to milk man on Sunday he will be a big 18 … he’s definitely heading in the right direction! 😎

We’re incredibly proud of the effort, enthusiasm and determination owen is showing while learning the ropes here at Abercorn Dairies family dairy.

As you can see from the video, he’s taken to milk delivery training like a duck to water the confidence is there, the sat-nav and steering might need some additional work! 😂🥛

It’s brilliant to see young people coming through the business, learning the trade and showing that our future milk men can start out as milk boys and work their way up by putting in the effort and having the company values at heart and choosing to do things without cutting corners 💪🥛

Here’s to early mornings, plenty of laughs and hopefully remembering which doorstep gets which milk! 😂

What an amazing summer it’s been! ☀️🌴 We’ve loved sharing so many wonderful moments with all of our fantastic customers.

Milk Delivery Driver/s Required

Abercorn Dairies is looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Milk Delivery Driver to join our team.

Hours Available

Option 1

* 2 days per week
* Approximately 8 hours per shift
* 16 hours per week

Option 2

For those looking for additional hours:

* 4 days per week
* 2 shifts of approximately 8 hours
* 2 shifts of approximately 4 hours

Working Schedule

Sunday Night into Monday Morning

Domestic customer round

* Milk delivery round
* Followed by a small number of café deliveries
* A milk boy will be provided to assist with the domestic round
* Café deliveries are completed by the driver

Tuesday

5:30am – 9:30am

* Deliveries to semi-retail customers with a drivers mate

Thursday Night into Friday Morning

Domestic customer round

* Milk delivery round
* Followed by a small number of café deliveries
* A milk boy will be provided to assist with the domestic round
* Café deliveries are completed by the driver

Saturday

5:30am – 9:30am

* Deliveries to semi-retail customers with a drivers mate

Please note that the hours stated are the maximum expected shift lengths. Depending on traffic, route conditions and how efficiently the round is completed, you may finish earlier.

Domestic Deliveries

* Paisley
* Barrhead
* Neilston
* Uplawmoor

Semi-Retail Deliveries

* Paisley
* Alexandria
* Glasgow
* Southside of Glasgow

About the Role

This position would suit:

* Someone with a young family looking for a better work-life balance
* Someone seeking part-time employment to supplement their income
* Someone who enjoys working independently
* Early risers who prefer flexible working hours

Additional Earnings

Once per month, there will be cash collections from a small number of customers who do not pay electronically. These additional hours are paid on top of your normal salary.

Any customer tips received are retained by the delivery team and shared amongst the staff within your round.

Monday 29th June

Rate of pay £13.50 per hour

Spent the weekend up in Glasgow for the Coffee Festival 2026 and honestly… what a vibe ☕️🔥

So good to step away from the office and put the tools down for a bit. Great coffee, great people, and a proper reminder of why we love what we do. Sometimes you need those days out to recharge and come back sharper.
