It breaks our hearts to be writing this, but after many sleepless nights and a lot of soul-searching, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to put Kay’s up for sale due to personal reasons.
As a result, Kay’s will be closed until a sale is agreed and completed.
This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly. Kay’s has been so much more than just a café to us – it has been our dream, our passion, and a huge part of our lives. We’ve poured our hearts into every breakfast, every burger, every homemade cake, and every customer who walked through our doors.
To everyone who has supported us, shared our posts, recommended us to friends and family, or simply popped in for a coffee and a chat, thank you. Your support has meant the world to us and helped create something truly special.
We would love to see Kay’s continue under new ownership and remain a part of the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take over an established café with a loyal customer base and strong local support. To help make the transition easier, our talented baker would be willing to remain with the business should the new owners wish.
