The Tysoe apiary is in full swing after two years of sweat and tears!
We now have our very own home grown raw honey!

Will be selling tomorrow at the egg sale, come and get your honey!

In September last year, a very dear friend, Gerald, passed away.
He was a builder by trade, building many of our houses here at Tysoe. As a side hustle, he was a very keen and experienced bee keeper.
In loving memory of him, we’ve decided to take on 3 of his beloved bee hives.
Next step, to introduce some bees from his remaining hives in Woolhampton, to these hives at Tysoe.

As well as the freshest hen and duck eggs, we are now selling our home grown, grass fed beef.

Good morning all, and happy 2025!

A little update from us….

Sadly, incidents of bird flu in the UK are on the up. Many large suppliers in the UK have been affected with thousands of birds lost.

Over the coming month, supply of eggs may not meet the public’s demand which will drive egg prices up.

Currently we are not affected and still have our normal supply of eggs at their normal price. We will endeavour to keep or birds safe by following any current or upcoming government advice.

In the meantime, our Sunday sale will continue to be open between 10.30 and midday every week. We will keep our prices competitive, currently remaining at £7 for a tray of 30 large fresh hen eggs.

We also sell fresh free range duck eggs.

If you are a regular, returning or new customer, we look forward to seeing you.

So, we have a road closed outside the farm today.
The egg man is now parked at the end of the road (Pangbourne end) so you can still get your eggs.
Those coming from the yattendon/Bradfield end, will have to go through upper Basildon to get to us x
