We're delighted to be proudly supporting the meat for the meal at the 4th annual Shower to Stage Gala at The Alverton Hotel, Truro, an amazing event raising vital funds for mental health support throughout Cornwall.

This year's chosen charity is Farm Cornwall, and we're proud to play our small part in supporting such an important cause and the incredible work they do within our community.

Last night saw the winners of this year’s Meat Management Industry Awards 2026 announced by comedian and Chaser, Paul Sinha at the ceremony in Birmingham.

We were absolutely delighted to be highly commended in not one, but two categories.

To be rubbing shoulders once again with some of the very best meat producers from across the country is both incredibly humbling and hugely pleasing.

Times have certainly changed.

We no longer have a mobile shop like Papa Joe did, or like his parents and grandparents before him, but we’ve kept the same commitment to serving our local community with the finest quality meat.

Today, you can order from the comfort of your own home through our online shop and we’ll bring your order right to your door locally, throughout Cornwall and further afield.

And while the way we sell our meat has changed, one thing certainly hasn’t…

We’re proud to be the 5th generation of the Kittow family to have reared beautiful beasts here at Kilhallon Farm and supplied magnificent Cornish meat to the local area since 1880.

That’s 146 years of family farming, producing great meat and supporting our local community.

Our beef comes from our own herd here at Kilhallon, alongside meat sourced from local farmers who share our passion for producing the very best.

So whether you’re collecting from the farm or having your order delivered to your door, you can buy with confidence knowing where your meat comes from and who you’re buying it from.
