When you swagger into our festival saloon, what's your order to the barkeep? 🤠

Alongside a selection of special festival cocktails (tequila is featured, naturally) and some usual suspects on tap, Problem Child Brewing have brought some of their gang to Wafsville Country Music Festival 2026!

We'll have ghostly pale ale Voodoo Child, our hop-forward smash in the face Shenanigans, recent newcomer the hazy super pale Psychedalek, and the orange and caramel flavoured amber ale Vaccine.

Keep an eye out as all our selections will be sporting festival themed pseudonyms for the weekend! 👀

Alongside the saloon at Wafsville...

🎶 LIVE MUSIC: Exciting artists from the UK country scene playing classic covers & original music, plus rip-roaring tribute acts and country remixes
🍔 TEXMEX FOOD: Tejano-inspired burgers, wings, loaded fries, and pizzas, as well as country cakes
🐎 OLD WEST ANTICS: Saddle up for line dancing, rodeo bull riding, co****le, & horseshoes
🚗 CLASSIC CARS & STALLS: A lineup of American automotive legends, plus themed vendors such as Saddleborn, and craft workshops
🎨 FAMILY ACTIVITES: Fun for little cowboys and cowgirls too!

Come for the day or make a weekend of it and camp. Kids welcome! Under 2s go free. Well-behaved dogs allowed on leads.

Everyone's got problems, so why not have a Problem you can enjoy this weekend? 🍺

Problem Child Brewing are on tap at these fine establishments this weekend for your enjoyment...

In Den Engel in Ainsdale have ghostly pale ale Voodoo Child and the ruby red Mildly Annoying (a mild ale, in case that wasn't clear 😉)

The Bugle Tap Southport also have Voodoo Child, whilst our new hazy super pale Psychedalek is exterminating thirst at The Hingemakers Arms in Ashton-in-Makerfield.

Swan & Railway Hotel Wigan are also rocking Voodoo Child, the lightly hopped pale blonde Big Girls Blouse, and traditional mahogany-coloured ale Rapscallion.

And of course The Wayfarer, Parbold are packing (naturally) with Voodoo Child, Rapscallion, and the light, straw-coloured Rascal on tap. And of course there's the beer shop on-site too!

Today is INTERNATIONAL BEER DAY! 🥳🍻

Since 2007, International Beer Day is celebrated by gathering together with friends and enjoying a tipple of your choice. Preferably beer, obvs.

It's seen as a day to try something new, so if you haven't sampled a Problem Child Brewing beer before, today could be the day! We're on tap at The Wayfarer, Parbold as well as in cans and bottles in the on-site beer shop. However if you aren't local, you can find us at www.problemchildbrewing.co.uk

The day is also about celebrating those responsible for brewing (naturally Jonny's on-board with this 😅) and serving beer. So to brewers and servers across the world, we raise one to you! 🍺

I MESSED UP 🙈

This past weekend our brand new Problem Child Brewing beer went on the taps at The Wayfarer, Parbold and before I could post about it WE RAN OUT. 🙃

But don't worry, if you missed it the first time (like me) it's on again now!

Meet Pyschedalek!

Inspired by a combination of the hops used, and a terrifying monster from Jonny's childhood.

Made with Southern Hemisphere hops (from New Zealand to be precise), it's a hazy super pale ale, which at 3.8% is a light, refreshing, thirst-quencher that's perfect for summer.

If you're dehydrated in a beer garden, before you consult a Doctor, grab a Pyschedalek and exterminate thirst!*

*to be clear the above is a light-hearted Doctor Who joke, in all seriousness if you are severely dehydrated SEE A DOCTOR FFS

Psychedalek is on tap NOW exclusively at The Wayfarer. Jonny is undecided if this is a limited edition one-off or the beginning of a new regular beer, so get down and tell us what you think!

🏄🏼 NEW MERCH DROP 🍻

Summer may end, but the beers don't have to! Our new limited edition Endless Beers t-shirts are available exclusively at the Problem Child Brewing shop inside The Wayfarer, Parbold

The design is an homage to the poster for the 1966 film The Endless Summer, a documentary about surfers catching waves around the world. 🤙🏼

The poster was designed by John Van Hamersveld and is preserved in the Smithsonian Institution as an important artefact of American history.

And we've gone and ruined it by putting our problematic boy all over it. 🤣

There's a limited supply, available in a range of 5 colours, sizes M to 2XL, and these tees are not available online - they are exclusive to the beer shop inside The Wayfarer, Parbold

We're running the bar at Parbold Village Show tomorrow!

Alongside a selection of staple beers and ciders on tap, we also have our very own award-winning pale Heidrun, Bavarian style lager beer Dirty Bier, and the light, refreshing, and hoppy Rascal.

There's loads going on, so come on down, Saturday 11th July 2026, 12-9pm, Alder Lane Playing Fields, Parbold, WN8 7HZ.
