Final-final post (I promise! This is turning into something like bedtime at the Waltons’ 😅)
▪️Firstly, Merry Christmas to everyone that has been involved in the Tweed Valley Distiling Co journey! 🎄 Have a fantastic holiday season and all the best for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ and beyond!
▪️There are so many people to thank, not least the so-many customers (be they individuals or trade customers) of this business over the past four years. It has been a real thrill and privilege to have had my range of products form a part of your celebrations, seasonal gifting, enjoyment of holidays and leisure-time and bar-ranges and store-offerings.
▪️Beyond that, specific thanks go to the people whose generosity of time, knowledge, flexibility and support helped me get this business out of a garden shed and in to the high street and online: Fiona and John at Redcastle for the huge help in navigating the early bureaucratic jungle; Lizzie Cameron who listened to my ramblings and somehow translated that into the fantastic designs for my bottle artwork, which has always been really well received by customers; the fantastic teams led by Lewis Scothern at Distillutions and by John Henderson at ImageOnGlass without whose openness to support small businesses and willingness to work at small order quantities (and sometimes short notice 😅) the Tweed Valley project would quite simply have stalled - THANK YOU ❤️
▪️To the efforts of the wonderful market convenors and event organisers along the way where great fun was had in bringing the range to the public
▪️And finally to the array of stall-helpers, wing-men and hype-women and supporters who made so many events possible (and a huge amount of fun!) - looking at you Thomas Neville Justin Walsh Rob Ballantyne Kath Fok and Sara-Jane Duffus.
▪️There will inevitably be more folk I should list here, but I am sure folk will forgive me the odd error of omission - it is Christmas after all! Off to crack open a beer, reflect, and relax. It has quite simply been a total blast, and with that - WE OUT 🎤🫲🏼🤟🏼
