What a day!
We travelled down to London for a very special event - The Lord Mayorās Big Curry Lunch.
It was brilliant to venture down south and introduce our fudge and toffee to so many people who hadnāt come across us before. Even better was hearing stories from those who already had a connection to our little shop - whether through visiting the Lakes or spotting us in stockists further south.
The event supported the , a charity doing incredible work supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families - from financial assistance to housing, wellbeing, and ongoing care.
With over 1,500 people in attendance, all so passionate about the cause, it was unlike any event weāve done before. We felt part of something incredibly meaningful.
We had the honour of meeting His Royal Highness, The Duke of Gloucester, who we hope enjoyed the box of butter fudge presented to him. Weāre also very grateful to The Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Dame Susan Langley, and Michael Hockney for co-chairing such an impactful day - it was a privilege to be involved.
Weāre already looking forward to next year.
