Yesterday colleagues, leaders and furry friends from across our local stores set off from Kingstown Carlisle store on their 19-mile leg of a regional effort to walk 80 miles to take part in M&S’ biggest FUN-raiser yet to support Young Minds charity, which ensures no young person feels alone with their mental health.

The walk began on Tuesday 9th in Chorley and today ended with the group walking 19 miles to Carlisle English Street store, arriving this afternoon.

Well done all and especially Team Penrith for pounding those pavements

🌼M&S Big Funraiser! 🌼

This summer M&S is helping to raise money for Young Minds! M&S Lancashire and Cumbria are teaming up to walk a total of 80 miles for charity!! There is a total of 16 stores that will be split into 4 groups, The walk will start at Chorley store on Tuesday June 9th and ending at Carlisle store on Friday the 12th of June. Since M&S has partnered with young minds we have managed to raise over £6m, which is truly remarksable, young minds supports young people by providing advice and support through digital resources like their website or their TikTok, they do some really exceptional work. To go that extra mile we will also be doing a static bike challenge in store where we aim to cycle a total of 200 miles between 4-13th of June.
