📢The Capital Grant guidance notes have now been published, with the scheme remaining broadly similar to last year.
🔸Applications are expected to open in July, with £225 million of funding available to support a range of environmental improvements.
Funding is available for:
🌳 Boundaries, Trees and Hedgerows
💧 Water Quality
🌬️ Air Quality
🌊 Natural Flood Management
📋 Assessment and Improvement items
🔸£25,000 is available for air and water quality improvement and flood management.
🔸£35,000 is available for boundaries, trees and includes stone walls
Last year uptake was strong and only open for a number of weeks so we would advise early preparation is key to a successful application:
🔸Some items require Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) approval before an application can be submitted
🔸Applications over £50,000 require accountant involvement to outline sufficient funds are available
🔸Only one application can be submitted per SBI
