🌼 LAST CHANCE! 🌼

After the most incredible summer, we’ve made the decision that next weekend will be our final weekend of the 2026 flower season! 🥹🌸

The end of the summer holidays feels like a lovely natural point to finish on a high. Our flowers have certainly been put through their paces this year with the hot, dry summer, but despite everything, they’ve given us the most amazing season and there remains some lovely blooms to be picked!

So rather than winding down into September, we’re going to go out with a bang and make this final week a good one! 💥🌼

We’ve got:

🌸 Tuesday 25th: A Wild Day Out with Wild Acres & Learning with Lucy - the perfect family fun day for your little ones! Book via https://bookwhen.com/wildacrescumbria 💛
🌼 Friday 28th – Sunday 30th: our FINAL weekend of general opening, 10am–3pm every day! No booking required 🌼
🌅 Friday 28th: Golden Hour from 6pm: enjoy live music, cocktails, flower picking and food: Book via https://bookwhen.com/wildacrescumbria 🤩

Then on Sunday 30th August, we’ll close the gates on our 2026 flower season. ❤️

We cannot believe what this summer has become. Seeing so many of you enjoying the field, picking flowers, drinking coffees from The Meadow Hatch , treating yourself to one of Rach’s Bakes , bringing your children, meeting friends and making memories here has surpassed every expectation we had for Wild Acres.

So if you’ve been meaning to visit, want to come back one more time, or just fancy one final jar of summer flowers…

We’re heading into the final few weeks of summer at the flower field (how has that happened?! 🥲) but we’ve still got some lovely things coming up…

🌼 25th August: A Wild Day Out
We’re teaming up with Learning with Lucy for a children’s fun day at Wild Acres! With AM & PM sessions, expect plenty of outdoor fun, activities and, of course, flowers 🌸

🌅 28th August: Golden Hour
Golden Hour is BACK! ✨ From 6pm onwards enjoy the meadow at night with flowers, live music, drinks and hopefully one of those gorgeous Wild Acres sunsets 🤞🌅

🌻 Early September… Closing Weekend
We’re working on something special to round off our summer season. Full details coming very soon… 👀

Drought Update from Wild Acres 🌸☀️

It’s been very, very dry! And whilst we’re lovinggg this sunshine (especially when paired with a summer cooler from the Meadow Hatch), our flowers are ready for a drink and the dry spell is starting to take its toll on the field.

But… these pics are from the last few days in the meadow so give you a realistic expectation of what to expect! Whilst the top of the field in particular looks a little jaded (it’s the driest part) there’s still plenty of lovely flowers to be picked…

And we’re OPEN as usual this weekend 🩷🌸

Come for a wander, pick a lovely bunch of blooms, let the kids play in our play areas, picnic along the river petteril and grab a coffee and something sweet from the Meadow Hatch!

Remember we have scavenger and bug hunts, flower headbands and a sandpit for your little ones! ❤️

Rach’s Bakes has got a mouthwatering menu of Bueno Brownie, Millionaires Shortbread, Flower Cupcakes, Smarties Cookies and Triple Chocolate Cookies for you to enjoy! 😋

The VERY VERY welcome rain looks set to arrive from Monday and continue into next week, which will be exactly what we need to give our flowers a good boost and keep them coming through late Aug & Sept 💛🌼
