Kingston Suffolks and Southfield Charollais

Kingston Suffolks and Southfield Charollais Both Kingston Suffolks and Southfield Charollais are long established flocks ran by many generations of the Sands Family.

We aim to produce high quality, fleshy tups for mainly the commercial market. The tups are maninly grass fed and not overly pushed for the sales. We sell at Kelso, Stirling and Forfar auction marts, but they can also be purchased privately. Alongside the Suffolk and Charollais flocks we have recently started using a Texel, so some Texel x Charollais tups are also available.

Stock tups out from the ewes today, looking as fresh now as they did when they went in. Ewes seemed to come in season well so 🤞 for a good scanning and lambing.

Lambing just about done here for the year and it's been a successful one. Came in the shed this afternoon to find this girl lambed. A good example of the sheep we are breeding. Easy lambed, active and vigorous lambs who are quick to get up and sucked. Top marks for this girl!
