Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re hiring!
Stockperson / General Farm Worker Wanted
We’re a family-run farm located 3 miles east of Perth and are looking for a capable, motivated Stockperson / General Farm Worker to join our team.
About the Farm
🐑● 700 commercial ewes, with lambs finished on farm
🐮● 100 pedigree Charolais cows
🐮● 150 commercial cows and followers
The successful applicant will work alongside our existing stockpeople and be involved in all aspects of livestock management.
The Role
You’ll need to be confident and experienced in:
● Lambing and calving
● General livestock husbandry
● Maintaining accurate livestock records
🚜 The Reality Check
As with most farms, no two days are the same. You’ll also be expected to:
● Assist with machinery during busy arable periods
● Carry out general farm maintenance and duties (yes, fencing is part of the job! 😜)
✅ Essential Requirements
● Full driving licence
● Good reference
● Practical, hardworking attitude
● Sense of humour
● Willingness to work long hours during busy periods of the year
🏡 What’s Included
● 3-bedroom, oil-fired centrally heated house
● On a good school bus route
● Kennels for up to 3 dogs (working dogs welcome)
● Salary and commission commensurate with experience
