Community rallies to support Peterborough's Project Abundance after over £1,000 of tools stolen in break-in

Sadly this morning we came in to find our trailer had been broken into and a lot of our power tools stolen.

This hits us quite hard at the moment as we have some large projects on that have now come to a standstill. If anyone has any cordless tools we can potentially borrow for the short term it would be massively appreciated.

The list of things we’ve noticed have been stolen equates to around £800 - £1000. This isn’t a small amount of money for us and equates to one of our core staff members wages for the month.

We would appreciate anyone keeping an eye out for any of these being sold locally either individually or as a set. Not sure the police are worth contacting, not enough to justify the excess fee and hike in insurance so we just have to take as a loss and re accumulate when we can.

Our wonderful Andy explains how to save tomato seeds at home! 🍅 Did you know tomato seeds have a natural jelly coating that stops them from sprouting inside the fruit? Fermenting them strips that layer away so they're ready to grow!

Store them and then sow indoors or in a warm greenhouse in March for strong spring seedlings!
