Every day we bake, make and deliver food across the city. But behind the scenes, we’re also building something else: futures.
In partnership with DWP and CPCA, our Academy takes young people who’ve been overlooked or never had the right door opened for them and gives them real experience, real technical skills, and the soft skills employers actually need.
Some graduates end up working here. Marko studied Law and Politics at King’s College London, came to us through a DWP referral, and is now leading our digital department full-time. Alex is one of our baristas. Mohammed’s a line cook.
Others take what they’ve learned and go elsewhere. Some find work with local employers we partner with. Every path forward counts.
That’s the bit people don’t always see. We’re not just solving our own recruitment problems we’re helping other Peterborough businesses find reliable, trained, work -ready young people too.
