We're approaching mid Conk-tober and the build up towards The World Conker Championships is underway!

We're once again hugely excited to be welcoming the World to our little Pub!

This year's 'Shuck B**r Tent' will be up and ready with Simple Pleasures, Nene Valley Bitter, 2026 Green Hop, Business Time and Heisenberg L***r - all from Nene Valley Brewery.
We will also have a selection of lovely wines from wines and a plentiful array of soft beverages.
A few timings changes for Conkers week for the Southwick Shuck Team -our kitchen will be closed for all but coffee and cake, but rest assured we'll be busy beavering away for Conkers with the WCC Team.

🌿 Straight outta the field, straight into the brew!

Fresh Godiva hops landed at the brewery yesterday, and we wasted no time getting them straight into the brew.

Fresh, vibrant and packed with character. It’s always exciting brewing with hops at harvest time…we only get to do this once a year!

The brew is now happily fermenting away and we’re counting down to launch day…

🍺🏆 BIG BANG THEORY WINS GOLD! 🏆🍺

What a day at Peterborough B**r Festival! 🎉

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Big Bang Theory has picked up Gold in the SIBA Indie B**r Awards, winning the Cask Pale Ale 4.4%- 5.5% category! 🥇

But it gets even better…

Against some seriously tough competition from across all the cask categories, Big Bang Theory went on to take 3rd Place in the Overall Champion of the Cask Competition🥉🎉

There are so many fantastic b**rs being judged at the festival, so to come away as category champions and with a top-three overall finish is a huge achievement for us. We couldn’t be happier! ❤️🍻

🎶🍻 Party at the Wharf is almost here! 🍻🎶

We’re excited to be supporting this fantastic event at Oundle Wharf, and of course, we’ll be there with a fully stocked bar, ready to keep the drinks flowing all evening!

Headlining the night are One Step Behind – The Masters of Madness, the UK’s longest-running Madness tribute band, bringing all the classic hits and plenty of nutty energy to the stage. They’ll be joined by other great acts including local favourites, making it a brilliant evening of live music for all ages.
