You may be wondering what is happening in these photos! We promise there is great reason behind them.

At the start of the week the Delicious Ideas team split into groups for a team building exercise, taking on a blindfolded obstacle course, with one person guiding their teammates over hurdles, under a limbo bar and towards a final hit the target challenge. The exercise put trust, communication, leadership and problem solving into action, all of which are key behaviours that reflect DIFG’s values. It also gave us plenty of memorable photos and a few laughs along the way! 🤣

A huge thank you to our co-founder, Emma Smith, and Food Technical Coordinator, Jane Law, for organising such an engaging morning. We rounded things off with a food-culture quiz to refresh the teams knowledge of the guidelines and procedures that support our day-to-day work in wholesale snacking. 💫

Last weekend, 22 runners represented Little Miracles Charity at the Great Eastern Run, raising an incredible £10,000.

Delicious Ideas are proud to have played a small part by donating 25 goody bags for the runners and volunteers, helping to keep them fuelled throughout the challenging half-marathon route in and around Peterborough.

The money raised will help Little Miracles support families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions throughout autumn and winter. We are always pleased to support a cause that has such a meaningful impact on our local community.

Last week was bittersweet as we bid farewell to our brilliant Field Sales Executive, Anthony Pedlar. We’re sure as many of our customers and suppliers will agree, Anthony has been an asset to the team. Over the past year, he has represented DIFG in a friendly and professional manner at countless meetings, events and pop ups across the UK, he’s been the best ambassador that we could have hoped for.

Anthony is now pursuing a career in the world of rugby. His passion for the sport has never gone unnoticed, which is why it’s a truly bittersweet moment for the rest of the team.

2026 is flying by, which can only mean one thing – it’s time to start looking ahead to the new year!

At the start of the week, our boardroom table was lined with a variety of new snacks, all ready to be tasted at our Innovation meeting. The team tried products they never dared to dream of, including mashed potato sticks, chocolate-coated freeze-dried raspberries and mood-enhancing mocktails. We also saw some fascinating customer insights and a view of the trends shaping the snacking space.

Thank you to our superstar NPD Executive Molly Inman for organising such a brilliantly delicious session.

The team now have decisions to make and products to choose from for our 2027 listings. Watch this space for January. 👀

Last Thursday, Peterborough Cathedral played host to something truly special. The Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce marked its 100th anniversary in Peterborough with its Centenary Dinner, where the Peterborough Top 100 Awards were unveiled. We couldn't be prouder to say that not one but four of the people driving Delicious Ideas Food Group forward were recognised among them.

More than 400 guests from across the business community gathered for the evening, and to see our team celebrated in that room, surrounded by so much local talent, was a genuine honour.
