It’s been a wee while since we were in the show ring with the cattle but this weekend we took Little Glencoe Pele to New Deer Show, our amazing local show and he did not disappoint!
🥇First in his calf class, best calf and Reserve Champion and the success didn’t stop there…

🥈Pippa took her wee pony Buster into the Small M&M class to do the lead rein and they came 2nd in a class full of quality ponies.

Very good day for us all and a very well organised and enjoyable show…especially the tractor football which was great entertainment for everyone!

6 x 12 month old Pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls will be going through the store sale tomorrow at ANM Group Ltd.
1 x Freemartin heifer too.
No hard feed and never been in a shed.

It's taken us a while to get organised and photos ordered following the (NE of Scotland Aberdeen Angus Club) but what a show we had. We entered two homebred heifers into a very strong class and we managed to come home with a 3rd (Little Glencoe Perdita) and a 5th (Little Glencoe Peach)!! It was a tremendous show of calves and we are thrilled with the result. Probably one of the biggest highlights of the day was watching our eldest Harris (7) doing his first Junior Showmanship class. He was the youngest in the class and both he and his calf did amazingly well. Plenty of lessons learnt, but we will always be learning I think....roll on the 2024 show season!!

This year we were encouraged to start showing our cattle - absolutely thrilled to announce we came 3rd in a recent Aberdeen Angus herd competition and also won best Aberdeen Angus calf at our local show..
