WE’RE BACK!
We realise we’ve been a bit quiet on here!
We’ve actually been back in our original space at One Tree Books on Lavant Street, since November now. Following the fire, which forced us to close our doors, we weren’t sure how long we would be out of action - so consider this our official “We’re back” post!
During the closure of our Lavant Street shop, we opened up a “Mini Ginger’s” takeaway service just across the road. We also used this time as an opportunity to have a bit of a rejig of the old space. We moved our coffee machine to the back of the shop, so the cafe lives entirely at the back of the bookshop, with some tables in the front for people watching. So you won’t see us in the window anymore, but we’re very much still here!
A huge thank you for the overwhelming support from the amazing Petersfield community and beyond, for the emotional, financial, and physical help you have given. We have been truly blown away. Thankyou to all of our wonderful customers, my GLORIOUS Ginger’s gang, and the team at for helping restore our much loved space. With a special thanks to my partner Ned, for building us another TWO cafes in a very short space of time!!!
We couldn’t have done it without you all, and we are SO grateful.
