We just wanted to reassure everyone that we don't use Bovaer or any other methane suppression supplements in our cows diet.
We have received a number of enquiries about our cows diet and our milk production process over the last couple of days and we are proud of how greatly people care about their foods origin, safety, and the welfare of farm animals.
Our cows are fed a grass based diet, grazed during the summer and grass silage over the winter, this is supplemented with a home grown rolled barley mix and a cereal based dairy cake, fed during milking to satisfy their nutritional requirements depending on milk yield.
We strive to produce our award winning milk in a natural and efficient way, and have developed a production system that is sustainable and environmentally sound.
