We're hoping another local business is enjoying their fruit box today! 🍎🍇🍊

A big thank you to NHK Opticians, who popped in yesterday and ordered fruit boxes for staff across all of their locations. It's a simple way to keep teams fuelled with fresh, healthy snacks throughout the day.

🍝 Also pictured: another quick and easy dinner! We stock Saucerer sauces, and it felt like the perfect time to try another of their fantastic flavours. We paired it with fried Hen of the Woods mushrooms and our new-in English broccoli for a simple, delicious midweek meal.

✨ Also new in this week – English cherries and Goosgogs - been looking for Jerusalem artichokes...we have them. Keep an eye on our posts and pop into the shop to see what else has arrived!

What a fantastic day at Dartmoor Zoo today. Popped up to donate some unused whiskey barrels from the shop. Purchased our tickets (return as many times over a year! What value!) and spent the rest of day very relaxed in the company of amazing animals. Loved meeting the newest resident Napo the Jaguar, who looks like he has settled in beautifully, and getting another glimpse at the Amur Leopard family ❤️❤️

Good morning to all our Fruity Rooters and beyond.

Sorry you've not seen much on socials this month....Amy must do better 🤭🫣

Lets get to the important stuff, what's new in? Well let me tell you. Some awesome English produce has hit the shelves:

Broccoli
Tenderstem
Peas 🫛
Broad Beans
All kinda English and cornish strawberries are at their best right now 😋
English cherries have just started to arrive...what a fabulous season for juicy fruits

The summer is here again for the weekend and we have mouthwatering watermelons and pineapples 🍍 to tantalise your tastebuds.

We will be seeing the end of the English Asparagus until next year, so dont miss out and grab some today 🥰

And finally, a shout out to the the Primrose Plod who are taking to the moors for an 18 mile hike to raise money for to support to amazing job they do. Good luck everyone walking today, stay hydrated 💧

Did you know, every Friday morning we deliver fresh vegetables, salad and fruit to for the various, amazing animals that reside there.

If you haven't visited during the half term, plan in a day before the children go back to school. They have a new resident to see too 😊🐆
