We'd like to extend a massive thank you to Gavin from Danish Crown UK in Bugle for donating gammons to our cause.

These gammons have helped feed the homeless and raised vital funds for our operations, supporting over 83 groups across Plymouth, including soup kitchens, community hubs, and shelters.

We're grateful for Danish Crown UK's incredible support, enabling us to continue assisting those in need.

This fantastic company has been a huge help in assisting us to help others.

Well what a fantastic day yesterday 🎅
150 Christmas hampers, 100litres of milk, a ton of cauliflower and over 7500 mince pies have gone out for community champions, unsung heros and those struggling this Christmas 🎄

This couldn't have been done without the very kind Nathan Cox from POWERTOOLMATE "PRIZES" COMPETITIONS and Fred Murphy from Frederick Nelson fine foods. These amazing gentlemen organised and delivered these food hampers.
Absolutely stars 🌟 We are so greatful for their generosity. Please check them out.

Also huge shoutout to the amazing Harriet from Plymouth Foodbank for all their support in helping organising this.
David from Food in Community for the stunning fresh milk and support over the year.
Alongwith Holly and Jeni from Gleaning Cornwall for all the veg that has led to thousands being fed in Plymouth.

Then all the volunteers 🙋‍♂️ Leon Brooks and son Archie for the whole day of lifting and shifting.
Cllr Anne Freeman and Cllr Bill Stevens community grant that has supported the Bridge in transportation to help Plymouth receive over 30 tons of Vegetables in the last 5 months.

And last by no means least Laura Lynch and Caroline Gate our amazing staff that have worked so hard over this Xmas to prep the warehouse to do this large scale operation.

We look forward to being bigger and better next year. Pleased to make a difference this Christmas 🎄

💥 The Bridge in Numbers 💥 hahaaaaa

👉 83 organisations now have joined The Bridge. Meaning we are one of the fastest growing food support providers in the city.
👉 Over 7000 Mince pies given for free this Christmas to Warm/Welcome spaces and to our member organisations in our campaign.
👉 Over 35 Tons of Free fresh fruit and Vegetables given to our members this year.
👉 100 winter warm packs will be distributed to those in need across Plymouth this Christmas. ❄️ 🫂
👉 115 Christmas meals for 4 will be given out to the community next week 🎅🎄Thats 460 Christmas dinners on us!
👉 Over 9000 ambient Tins of food distributed amongst our network in less than a month.
👉 Over 53KG of coffee beans passed out for free 😋 ☕️
👉 Over 40+ brand new work shoes passed out for free.
👉 Only one frazzled Manager 👌
👉 Only in our 9th Month of trading (I know it feels like we have been here forever).
👉 100 Litres of fresh milk being provided for free this Christmas. 🥛
👉 Over £1200 worth of Halloween sweets donated to Plymouth Hospital. Around 400 kids received a treat within 4 hours of distribution. 👻
👉 One organisation has saved over £3500 in 4.5 months since utilising the Bridge.

All this couldn't have been done without our fantastic members. ❤️
The more we are utilised the more we can continue to give back.

Our weekly fresh free produce has dropped at The Bridge. 🥦 🍅 😋

We look to bring in fresh fruit and vegetables every week for our members saving many organisations ££££.
So far we have distributed over 35 Tons of free fruit and vegetables across Plymouth. 😍

Our way to assit our members to have the extra funds to choose from the many ambient and frozen items we have in stock.

In just one week as part of our campaign we have passed out over 6500 mince pies so far this Christmas🥧 (and we haven't finished yet!)

These have been distributed to Foodbanks, Community centres, Warm/ Welcome spaces, a Nursing home, Youth groups, Schools, Church's, Community groups and a Neighbourhood Watch and many more awesome spaces, to bring some Christmas cheer 🎄 🎅

Huge, thank you to the amazing Portreath Bakery, without this brilliant bakery this wouldn't have been possible, your fabulous treats have brought many smiles. Thank you for the kind gift 👏
