I often get asked if I have a favourite spice. I have to say I think the unsung hero is Garam masala.
It absolutely transforms curries and soups 😋
typically made from spices such as cumin, coriander, cardamom ,cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper, many of which contain natural antioxidants.
Several of the spices have traditionally been used to support digestion.
it’s a warm spice, but not hot🔥 .
Top tip add it towards the end of cooking for full taste and aroma. 💚
