September market dates

Slight change as we won’t be in Helmsley Friday 4th September and we also won’t be at Harrogate Valley gardens Sunday 6th September.
We will back in Harrogate in October, sorry to all regular customers that we have been away for a few months, we can’t wait to see you back there.

After a very busy few months, we’re taking a little time out for a family holiday. ✈️

The Pie Shop is now CLOSED and will reopen on Wednesday 9th September.

And when we reopen, there’s something we know lots of you have been waiting for…

🥧 HOT PIES ARE COMING! 🥧

From Wednesday 9th September, we’ll be serving hot pies with mash, gravy & peas every day the shop is open, between:

11am – 1.30pm

Our opening hours from 9th September will be:

🥧 Monday — 9.30am–4pm
🥧 Tuesday — CLOSED
🥧 Wednesday — 9.30am–4pm
🥧 Thursday — 9.30am–4pm
🥧 Friday — 9.30am–3pm

BUT don’t worry — the markets are still carrying on this week!

Yes, Dan is another year older today…

You’d think he might take his birthday off, put his feet up and enjoy a relaxing day…

Absolutely not. 😂

You’ll find him in Helmsley today, doing his favourite thing — standing behind a stall selling pies.

So if you’re passing, pop over, grab your weekend pies and wish the Pie Man a Happy Birthday!

And if you really want to make his day, buy enough pies so he can SELL OUT and actually get home early and celebrate his day. 😂

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of attending our friends’ wedding at Barmbyfield Barns — and we were also honoured to be part of their big day by providing the food!

For the main meal, guests enjoyed Dan’s Pies with creamy mash, gravy and a side of peas.

And it didn’t stop there… we also supplied our sausage rolls and pork pies for the evening buffet.

To finish off the main meal, the pies were followed by some gorgeous ice cream from Swirlz

We absolutely love being able to work alongside and support other local businesses, especially on occasions as special as this.

A huge congratulations to the happy couple. Thank you for trusting Dan’s Pies to be a part of your wedding day.

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has called into the shop this week. 💙

It’s been extremely busy, and the support for our new shop has been incredible. You’re also absolutely loving our £15 Meal Deal — so much so that we completely SOLD OUT yesterday!

Don’t worry though, we’ll be fully stocked and ready to go again on Monday with plenty of pies, mash, gravy and veg!

The shop is now closed for the weekend, but Dan’s Pies is still out and about today…
