Agin Mrs O has been busy and met posting slip so here’s a catch up of my latest cakes that have gone out in the last few weeks. Most of them in the really hot weather. There was also a 12” tall 8” wide wedding cake just waiting on photos coming back of that. Two feature my new toppers that I can now supply!!! Keep a look out for today’s cake featuring 2 octopuses with lots of green suckers.

Friday saw me back danbycastlebarn for Georgia and Callum’s wedding. Three tiers of pleated perfection, adorned with sugar pearls and beautiful fresh flowers from rosemaryblooms_. Lots of discussion before hand to ensure all flowers were food safe then Emma produce 4 beautiful arrangements for me to attach to the cake so as to ensure food safety!! The Bride provided the beautiful ducks. The cake was accompanied by cupcakes for those with food allergies, all individually labelled so as the guests could ensure there was no allergens for their requirements.

Last Saturday I was back at wold_view_farm_weddings for the lovely Megan and Eddie.

On display was a 2 tiered pleated cake of red velvet and then chocolate for the top tier. Finished with sugar pearls and hand crafted sugar flowers including roses, Lisanthus, gypsophila and eucalyptus. To ensure there was enough cake for everyone as dessert there was also a kitchen cake which was vanilla and then vegan slices of red velvet, chocolate and vanilla to match.

I also supplied my personalised welcome sign dressed beautifully by their florist.

Last weekend saw me at the fantastic wold_view_farm_weddings for Hannah and Tom’s wedding. The cake featured their dog Molly, a clear acrylic tier, lots of handcrafted sugar flowers and foliage. And the sugar pearls arranged to represent Mickey Mouse’s face. All set on my floral hoop cake stand with silk flowers to match the days floral accents.

Just wondering if any of my couples are free the 24th of September? Do you like being in front of the camera? Have you had your big day and it went too quick? Do you fancy a dress rehearsal if not had your big day?

Basically I’m looking for a real couple to model in a shoot with a fantastic team of suppliers. Also need bridesmaids, even some groomsmen. I promise it will be a good day with professional hair and make up artists and you will some great pics too as well as lunch. Just let me know if you fancy it?

I’m really looking forward to this Sunday I’ll be at Carlton Manor under the Sun wedding showcase. It’s an amazing venue with luxurious facilities in the Manor House and cosy glamping pods. The Tipi for your wedding breakfast is something else. Plus on top of this your wedding coordinator is one of the best in the business he really does care about each individual couple!!

Friday was a full on day in Mrs O’s kitchen. Full dessert table for 120 people. The menu included cheesecakes, panna cottas, profiteroles, mini cakes, brownies, blondies, cookies, mini tarts and a small cutting cake!! All delivered and set up at the stunning Hackness Grange. It required a 2 car delivery with all the stands, equipment and insulated boxes. I was so happy with the overall look and I know from my taste testers that everything was perfect.
