I’ve spent years obsessing over flour, fermentation, hydration and why your dough tears, sticks, or turns into a frisbee… and I’m going to show you exactly how to fix it.

In this hands-on class you’ll learn:

• The real Neapolitan dough method (no myths)
• How to mix, rest, ball and ferment properly
• Why your dough sometimes fights you
• Stretching without ripping
• Getting cornicione (the puffy leopard spotted crust)
• How to adapt dough for a home oven or pizza oven

We’ve been on a curing journey. Only the best pork loin, cured for 6 days, air dried then smoked over apple wood for the tenderest most delicate flavoured bacon imaginable.
Slice that loin and give it a blast in a pan. Joy.
Over the next few weeks our bacon will be available to purchase from us, both for home cooks and restaurants. Keep your eyes peeled.

As promised, here’s some more deets of our pizza kits starting Friday 16th Jan.
Send us a DM to order your kits. The last order will be the Wednesday 12 noon prior to the Friday.
Collections welcome but local deliveries available across Wakefield, Castleford and Pontefract (delivery fee applies). Just let us know which kit you’d like and it’ll be ready for you on the Friday.
Each kit is fresh with our amazing 48 hour proofed Neapolitan dough balls and some of the finest pizza toppings you’ll ever taste. Fridge safe for 2 days and you can freeze it too!
If you have a pizza oven the you’re able to recreate one of my pizzas in about 90 seconds, alternatively you can cook at home with a pan and grill in just a few minutes. All instructions provided.
Each kit allows you to make 2 pizzas!

We also have frozen dough balls available to purchase as well as our amazing dough and pizza making classes too. Just ask!

We’ve got a few bags of julienne fries left over from an event.
These are excellent quality fries but have already been defrosted so will need using by tomorrow night.
If anyone needs or wants any please DM me. I’d prefer them to go to someone in need, but am also aware of the fact that these aren’t a healthy option.
We’ve also got a small amount of pickled mooli, Yangnyeom sauce, nori mayo and mint & coriander yoghurt too.

We’re proud to announce we’re opening to the public on Saturday the 21st September.

Head over to Victoria gate casino on Eastgate, Leeds for some banging fried chicken, pizza, sandos, burgers and loaded fries.

A huge thank you to everyone who came for our soft launch. It means so much that so many of you came out. It’s rested so many nerves for me and Rob and we thoroughly enjoyed serving the lot of ya.

HUGE BIT OF NEWS!!!!!
We are opening our very own restaurant in the centre of Leeds.
The restaurant will be called FEEND is located in the Victoria Gate Casino on the top floor of the Victoria gate shopping centre.
We’re so excited, this is a dream come true for us.
Expect pizza, loaded fries, fried chicken, folded pizza, panuozzos all brought up to the next level.
We’ll be opening up late September. Menu will be dropping soon.
Like to say a massive thankyou to everyone who has helped us on the way to get here.

Tinyidea food will still continue to engage with vulnerable and disadvantaged families within the district in our usual way, but you’ll see less of our street food outings for a while.

Normanton party in the park! Come down this Saturday for music, fun and most importantly we’ll be there serving our amazing loaded fries.
Rob and I have come up with a loaded fries menu that’ll blow your socks off.
If you’ve had our f*ck me fries or Robs Bombay fries from his days down at the Jockey, you know you’re in for a treat.

Here’s an idea, a Tiny Idea

Tiny Idea is a small not for profit business based in Castleford West Yorkshire. We make incredible Neapolitan style pizzas from our 1958 Stirling 10 caravan as well as other popup locations around the district.

Our pizzas are some of the finest in the UK, using our signature 72hr fermented dough, the finest local seasonal and authentic toppings and a range of our own sauces which make us really stand out from the crowd. Our pizzas are cooked from fresh in our 500c oven in less than 90 seconds meaning you don't have to wait long for a delicious hot pizza.

We also produce a range of preserves and sauces including our famous ‘Animal’ spicy maple syrup and ‘Animal’ hot honey, to our incredible Amalfi lemon curd and our N’duja inspired chorizo based yorkshire fiery spread.

Along with our range of food and ingredients we also make funky recycled copper pipe keyring hand stamped with words and phrases that have gained popularity over the last several months. These keyring are created by hand and can be customised with wording of your choice.
