SORRY that I have been so quiet on this page lately xx

A lot has happened because was supposed to have new kitchen fitted earlier this month but everything went to 💩 so it’s getting done October now x

This week though I was determined to get pantry stocked with stewing steak ready for colder days and got an offer of 1.5kg for £17.50 so bought 9 kg 🤪 and I pressure canned 24 jars of 400g in each x David Bennett used one to try last night and OMG it was beautiful x
Getting prepared because prices are only going to go up with the hot summer and farmers having to feed the cows hay through the summer not just winter x

Hope everyone is doing okay 👌 and promise to post more x

Hands a really stained 😝

BUT David Bennett got a tray of cherries 🍒 in Tesco with a good old yellow sticker down from £6 to £2 they will make fantastic pie filling tonight to go into the freezer for crumble and pies when the cold weather comes around again x

Made something new today but have to wait 2 weeks to see how it tastes x had a go a Dijon mustard because been going a lot in mayonnaise and burgers and meatballs so I what the heck let’s have a good go x made 9 loaves too you have seen these before plenty of time ###

yay!!! I have just ordered 2kg of fresh Jalapenos for Dave x anybody remember what I made him last year? He has some growing in potting shed but couldn't resist treating him xx

Busy day in kitchen today x
Cinnamon rolls ✅
Baking tray of 1tbsp tomato paste in freezer, ready for bagging up later ✅
4 packets of cream crackers bagged up in bags of 36 ready for future burgers and meatballs ✅
Blitzed up 2 bags of fresh breadcrumbs, after baking 6 loaves yesterday ✅
Gammon joint cooked in Instant Pot ready to slice for sandwiches tick ✅

Not made mayonnaise yet but plenty of time left to do that x sat relaxing now for an hour x was going to make pasta but still have plenty left still x

Any guesses what I put in the freezer yesterday? All bagged up and back in freezer now xx
