In 2020, Mike & Amanda did the sensible thing - left their 9-5’s and set up Loaded Dough in Abercynon. …Because life’s too short for mediocre pizza 😉🍕🍇

Six years later they look back at what they’ve built, the journey they’ve been on together and the countless pizzas and happy customers that have made it all worthwhile to pride themselves on a solid reputation for serving seriously goodfood, using only the best ingredients and local suppliers! Bit of a special one, this… Cwrw Otley & Misfit in the brewery and on the keg taps! 🍻

It’s almost 10 years since Matt was last brewing with Nick at Otley Brewing Co and three years since Matt hit the Welsh indie craft brew scene - spotting a gap in the market which unsurprisingly, he effortlessly filled with .

The first Misfit brew on Halloween 2023 was ‘Steal This Beer’, a 4.4% Extra Pale Ale. But he’s not sentimental - his current Misfit favourite is ‘Astro Zombie’ a 4.8% Hazy New England IPA.

Today’s Cwrw Otley x Misfit collab is the second in what’s becoming Misfit’s ‘Crispy’ series. Matt recently kicked the series off with Dark Element on a New Zealand Pilsner. Today he’s brewing a 4.6% Vienna IPL alongside Nick and Kelvin with a healthy dose of hops because as Matt puts it, he’s ‘Never known Nick to do a beer without chucking shed loads of hops in’ 😂🍻

Brewed together. Hopped accordingly.

Haf Bach 4.2% – our new American Pale Ale and the winning name from our ‘Name Our Beer’ competition has proved so popular - it’s flown off the handpulls and sold out retail!

Haf Bach means ‘little Summer’ in Welsh and that’s exactly what this beer has delivered! Crystal clear with a radiant golden hue, it’s crisp, refreshing and brewed for long, lazy afternoons in the pub garden.
