We also have our own in house catering department with our own commercial kitchen and tasting room. Our clients' events are our business. We take the initial concept and carry it through to supplier and venue sourcing and then on to the design and logistics to the delivery of the event itself. They say that all good things come to an end and yes we agree in part, especially with the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - this is the perfect example of this ❤️ May she rest in Peace ❤️

This leads us to the past weekend, which was the culmination of 6 years of true joy, blood 🩸 sweat 😓 and tears 😭 the moment had finally come for us to execute the final Simply Gourmet catered wedding, which happened to be a 💯% VEGAN affair 🌱 and to top it off it took place at our favourite wedding venue Needless to say we smashed it 👊🏻

It’s now our decision to step back and take a “semi retirement” approach to the crazy world of catering 😜. We have been so fortunate to have shared our journey with some incredible individuals, some of which remained with us until the very end. We are truly grateful and thankful to everyone who was part of our journey, you all know who you are ❤️ you all made it an epic experience and we will never forget each and everyone of you ❤️

Our wedding catering may have come to an end but we will still be offering small scale corporate & private catering services to our loyal clients, we are just scaling back so we can experience a positive work/life balance ❤️

Our daughter Ava has been a passenger on our journey for the last 4 years, we have taught her the true value of hard work and it’s rewards 💪 now is the time for us to do the things that make us happy and bring pleasure to our little family ❤️. We have spent the last 6 years making memories for others and now Ava is of school age our summers will be full of making sure we make the most incredible memories with our family ❤️

Thanks again to all our wedding couples and wedding venues, it’s been an incredible journey.
