A new chapter for our flocks 🐓🥚

We’ve decided to start moving away from commercial brown hens (nothing to do with our carbon footprint 😉😂) and welcome a beautiful selection of mixed breeds to the farm.

While our brown hens have been fantastic layers, we’re excited to bring more colour, character, and diversity to the flock. From unique feather patterns to different personalities.

Happy, healthy, pasture raised hens make wonderful eggs! 🥚

Magnus having a great time with uncle Dolan getting the last of the white snowball onions in the ground. We now use a mulch that is fully biodegradable and compostable so at end of the season it doesn’t need to get pulled out, it stays in the ground and biodegrades.
