Introducing The Hundred - Laggan Bay’s Founding Casks

We were proud to launch The Hundred at Fèis Ìle, and are now excited to share it more widely ✨
This limited release of just 100 casks marks the beginning of the Laggan Bay story - a rare opportunity to be part of our journey from the very start.

Each cask is filled and matured on Islay, where our peat-led spirit will evolve over time, shaped by the island’s unique maritime climate. Resting in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, it will gradually develop notes of vanilla sweetness and caramelised sugar.

Laggan Bay: A new Islay whisky distillery

With the bay glinting behind them, Leonard and Tom Russell joined Distillery Manager, Malcolm Rennie, to fill our very first cask - a milestone that marks the beginning of our whisky story on Islay.

Overlooking the windswept sands of Laggan Bay, the distillery takes its name from this iconic coastline, defined by its ever changing Atlantic outlook, and the wildlife who make it their home.

Guided by Malcolm, an Islay native with decades of whisky knowledge, we’re creating a whisky that’s balanced and deeply connected to it’s island home.

Our distillery features a specially created wetlands - to manage waste and provide a thriving habitat for local wildlife.

Join us-our journey is just beginning.✨
