We are a family run business, where the Crab and Lobsters are caught and Landed in Port Isaac by Tom Brown and brought back to our shop to be cooked and picked.

We’re looking to try a few more events this summer! 🦞☀️

As many of you know, we’ve recently launched our catering van, Just Shellfish – Cornish Seafood Kitchen, and we’re keen to get out to a few more events over the summer to see where we’re the best fit.

We’re looking for around one event per month, ideally within a 30-minute drive of Port Isaac, where there’s a good crowd and a great atmosphere.

Whether it’s a festival, agricultural show, community event, food festival, or summer celebration, we’d love to hear about opportunities to bring our fresh Cornish seafood to new customers.

Now that the dust has settled after the Royal Cornwall Show, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us.

Of course, we were disappointed that the third day had to be cancelled, and as a small business it was a tough one to take after all the hard work and preparation that goes into an event like that. But sometimes these things are out of everyone’s hands.

Rather than dwell on it, we’re choosing to focus on the amazing two days we did have. Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers and receiving so much support made it all worthwhile.

To everyone who visited us, shared a kind word, or bought from us – thank you. Your support genuinely keeps small businesses like ours going, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s to the next event and making even more great memories. In the meantime our shop is open as normal Monday to Saturday from 10-3! Come say hi! 👋🦞🦀

Does anyone know of a commercial gas engineer that would be able to have a look at our fryers tomorrow morning??

They have decided to give up at the royal Cornwall show which means we may not have any of our delicious loaded fries on the menu tomorrow!

They are only a few months old so I’m thinking it must be something simple?? Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!

We’re looking for new team members to join us at Just Shellfish.

The role includes:
• Serving customers
• Preparing seafood products
• Maintaining a clean and organised shop
• General day-to-day shop duties

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who work well in a busy environment. Experience is welcome but not essential.

The shifts are daytime only Monday to Saturday.

In just 3 weeks’ time, we’ll be at the very first Fisherman’s Friends Festival — and it’s all happening at Stithians Showground! 🎶🌊

Fisherman’s Friends — the legendary sea shanty group on our doorstep here in Port Isaac — are bringing their very own festival to Cornwall, and we’re buzzing to be part of it

If you’ve got tickets, make sure you come and find us for all your favourites 😋🦞🦀

Still buzzing after an amazing weekend at Porthleven food festival! 🔥🌊

Huge thanks to every single person who stopped by, tried our food, recommended us, or just had a chat – your support honestly keeps us going. We were flat out at times and loved every minute of it.

There’s nothing better than seeing people enjoying what we serve, especially in a place as beautiful as Porthleven.

We’re absolutely knackered but so grateful… and already looking forward to the next one! 🙌🦀

We’ve got an update to share… 🚐

Our catering van is officially here!

After a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we’re now ready to hit the road and bring our shellfish to you – fresh, local, and served straight from the van 🌊🦞

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to get stuck into a busy season ahead.

You’ll be able to find us at next weekend for our first outing – so come down, see the van, and grab some food!
