Great day for Steve on the specimen lake yesterday! He managed to snag our 25lb mirror and 27lb mirror that he's decided to name Milly.

Last weekend we allowed some of our regulars (Liam, Phil and Damian) an overnight stay at the lakes, in respect of their passion for fishing.

Damian managed a 25lb mirror, 13lb common and 14lb 4oz common; Liam snagged a 25lb 7oz mirror, and Phil achieved his personal best of 17lb 4oz, also being a mirror.

They described the day starting out overcast with a cool breeze, with the weather breaking out into sun later that morning. On this occasion they had set up 3 rods, but we would like to note that general fishing rules limit to 2.

If you guys would like to describe the type of bait and anything else that helped you catch on our lake, I'm sure the community would appreciate the information :)

We are otherwise ecstatic that the trip turned out well for the three of you and we wish you every success in your future fishing endeavors. We hope to see you all again soon.

A few weeks ago we rented out a mat to someone to use for the day. We unfortunately have not received it back.

We kindly ask that you return it to us as soon as possible. Should this be a continual occurrence we will not be able to afford these opportunities for the community anymore. We are unsettled on the matter, and the fact that our trust has been mishandled.

From now on we will have to ask that you hand us a form of ID before renting our equipment and that we receive respect on the exchange.

28lb 10oz mirror on a banana pop up.

21lb 7oz linear mirror on a squid/octopus wafter.

12lb common on a pineapple pop up.

15lb 8oz mirror by the name Sergeant on a pineapple pop up.
