Meet Gracie! Did you know, all of our flower mixes are named after very special people. Every one has a story tell …, Gracie is one very special lady indeed.

These flowers are freeze dried and will last many weeks, so you can prepare for your special event in advance. I decorated this cake the evening before, covered it and stored in the fridge. Easy peasy!

This is our story.

Over the coming months we will be sharing behind the scenes films about Polly’s Petals.

This first film is about the story of how Polly’s Petals came to be. As business owners, we tend to have our head down focusing on moving everything forward, we forget look back and remember the ups and downs, our achievements and our growth. So, when someone approaches you asking to tell your story it turns into a very special experience.

Pretty little flowers 🥰💕

Our gorgeous little Freeze-Dried Alyssum flowers are a forever favourite amongst our customers so they can add those beautiful tiny intricate details to their cake decorating. We’ve helped customers decide which colours would suit designs and colour schemes the most but sometimes it’s best to have a little bit of both! 💜🤍

These Freeze-Dried Alyssum flowers are a mix of White, Purple & Lilac and they are a gorgeous combo!

This is me, living my best life 🌸

The journey with Polly’s Petals has been full of learning, growth, and a fair bit of laughter along the way! I still can’t quite believe how lucky I am to do what I love every day, surrounded by wonderful people and beautiful blooms.

We’ve got some very exciting things coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

It’s finally May! 🌸🌼

Starting May with a glorious bank holiday leads no excuses to get a little bit messy whilst baking in the kitchen! Today we have whipped up a batch of these deliciously rich and chocolatey brownies and we had to try really hard to not immediately dig in. 😋🍴

Whilst the brownies were still warm from after being in the oven, we gently pressed a beautiful selection of our Freeze-Dried Pansies and Violas on top to create this wonderful decoration. We are so pleased with how this tray of chocolate delights turned out that once they had cooled down enough, we cut them up and had ourselves a little treat! 😍

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! 🌅

Having a breakfast that fills you up and gives you energy is so important and also, it makes for a great start of the day. Now that the weather is getting warmer, we like to have cooler and sometimes healthier breakfasts such as this one!

We’re currently in a craze of enjoying yoghurt, this one is blueberry flavoured (yum!), with some fresh fruit and granola with either a mixture of seeds or nuts or sometimes both! And because everyone deserves to have something beautiful to start their day with, we placed a few of our gorgeous Freeze-Dried Violas on top of the granola. 🫐🌸

A restful Sunday lunch. 🍲

Sundays for us are all about recuperating and getting ready for the week ahead. Whilst trying to relax and get our energy levels restored, we like to go for an easy but certainly filling lunch which today will be this delicious pea and ham soup! 😋

Whilst we enjoy it with some fresh crispy rolls, we also had to top it off with some of our Freeze-dried Violas and a pinch on Freeze-dried Orange Marigold too. We love the colours together with how bright and splendid they look, it certainly made our soup more pretty and appealing.

Something sweet for your evening treat 😋

Nothing beats some sweet meringues and fresh fruit. This time we have added raspberries and blueberries for that extra burst of flavour and it made it extra delicious! And of course, in true Polly’s fashion we just had to add some floral decoration, so we jazzed it up with a sprinkle of our Edible Heat Dried Moroccan Flame Blend. 🫐

Moroccan Flame Blend is a mix of Magenta Rose, Orange Marigold and Blue Cornflower. 🌹

It’s cocktail o’clock! 🍸

After a busy working week I think we all deserve to treat ourselves to a well earned cocktail. Whether your cheeky tipple of choice is gin, vodka or a bottle of fizz, you deserve to have a pretty glass to go with it! 🍾

We decided to delicately place some of our Freeze-Dried Snapdragons as decoration on our glass rims and the vibrant addition of colour makes us feel so much happier to sip from our naughty beverage. 🍹
